For Café Metropole Blanc de Blanc
Paris:– January 2005:– Allan Pangborn says it is official. You can place an online order for Café Metropole Blanc de Blanc Sparkling Wine right now. The Moonlight Cellar Web site is online and Allan has assured me that the order form is on a 'secure' server.
Here is the URL:–
http://www.moonlightcellar.com/ - and it certainly won't hurt to bookmark it.
The online order form will be familiar to everybody who has ever purchased goods via the Web. The only note of caution is that after filling in your order information and submitting the form, you will probably have to wait two minutes until there is a response. It is not necessary to hit the 'back' button or attempt to re–submit.
I suppose that everybody but me knows this already – so if you've read this sort of note before and know it off–by–heart – just consider that I've put it in for my own information.
As for the details about ordering, there is no need for me to repeat them here because you are just a link away from the source.
The relationship between 'Metropole Paris' and the new Café Metropole Blanc de Blanc Sparkling Wine is explained by Allan Pangborn on the Moonlight Cellar Web site.
For those of you who have just caught on to this for the first time – or have forgotten what has already happened – Allan is a long–time Metropole reader and a member of the Café Metropole Club. It is from the club that he has borrowed the name for the wine. This, and his appreciation of Paris.Allan riddling bottles of Café Metropole Blanc de Blanc in the Moonlight 'Shed.'
Allan is not an amateur or part–time winemaker. He has worked in the business for decades, both in Europe and in the United States. By people who are discerning, the dry sparkling wine is considered to be fine, and this has been confirmed by several positive sessions of testing at locales in the Pacific Northwest.

Finally, for the record and for the curious – on Tuesday, 5. December 1933, national prohibition in the United States ended when Utah became the 36th state to ratify the 21st Amendment to the Constitution, thus repealing the 18th Amendment.
The relationship between Café Metropole Blanc de Blanc Sparkling Wine and Metropole Paris is one of sponsorship. Each order you place benefits this magazine and helps to support its existence.
For personal reasons I have not tasted Café Metropole Blanc de Blanc Sparkling Wine. However I have been with people who have and they found it to be a more than respectable champagne–method wine. In addition, I have spent a fair amount of time together with Allan. He knows his wines and he knows how to make them.
As long as you are over 21, I am sure that having a moderate amount of Café Metropole Blanc de Blanc Sparkling Wine will give you much pleasure.
